Hey all I'm looking for a recommendation for a short noserider. I am a shortboarder but started longboarding a couple of years ago on a Bing Elevator 9'6" with a narrow tail. I longboard only at San
Onofre and I'm learning how to get my toes over the nose. The problem is I feel like I have way too much board. it takes me too many steps to get up there and too many to get back on the tail where I
can turn. Does anyone have any recommendations for a board. I want a short board but I want to noseride really well. I see these guys down at San O on these short little boards who seem to just drop
in and stand on the nose forever. That's what I want to do. Any help would be appreciated. Aloha

Hello there,
I heard this morning about Donald's passing away. Although I never met him, this news made me sad.
The first good board I ever owned was a Joel Tudor Model from Hawaiian Pro Designs. I loved it and rode it until it broke.
My thoughts and prayers are with Donald's family and close friends.
Aloha and RIP Takayama-sensei.

Mark Livingston in Santa Barbara where we first surfed & went to school. would come to the beach & say try this or that. the best he ever brought me was one of the 1st Scorpio pintails
slightly kicked up tail w/3 small fins & of coarse the concave nose with turned down top rails . Just awesome wish they were still available. Mark's a great surfer % a generous friend. The best
surfing DT surfboards ruled for me. sessions & contest surfing was with this scorpion pintail about 7'2" short boards just starting to rage.won about 3 contest with them . then focused on free
surfing. Hope for the resurrection on our beautiful planet read Bible hope Rev. chapt. 20,21

First and foremost,
Strength and love from here, in dealing with the loss of DT... Inspirational to see his legacy and history live on in all of you.
Hope you can answer a few questions about the design of the Nat Young mini model...
I really like the looks and philosophy of this board, but I've never seen a real one... What is the bottom like? (flat, light v, rolled?) And the rails in the back... they look pretty sharp, but I
can't really tell from the pictures... I know Oliver parker surfed a similar model at salinas... but that was really old school... The mini looks a little more 'progressive' is that true?
hope to hear from you...
